New Year and New Life in South Asia: We Welcome 11 New Believers in Jesus Christ!

New Year and New Life in South Asia! We are rejoicing in the news of 11 new believers in Jesus Christ from South Asia. Our ministry partners held a Christmas program in a village, sharing the Gospel and the Good News of salvation through believing God sent His Son Jesus Christ to die on the cross for our sins and through Him we have eternal life with the Holy Spirit to help us live a life pleasing to Him here on Earth. Here is our pastor’s testimony from South Asia:
“[I preached] about [Jesus’] birth, death, resurrection and eternal life. I know that the Holy Spirit was using me during my preaching time […] How I can touch good news to them – personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Finally they realized and after church service the eleven people came to us and they surrendered to God and accepted Jesus Christ as their Lord and personal Savior […] Praise the Lord!!! What an amazing thing happening on Christmas day!!! We really praise God for what He has done through His ordinary servants on Christmas day. It’s a Christmas blessing for all of us!!! PRAISE THE LORD!!! Please remember them in your prayers for them that they might have strong faith in the Lord and we may use them for His disciples and for the expansion of His Kingdom.”
We rejoice with Heaven today over the new members of our family in Christ and invite you to join us in praying for these new believers. Thank you to each of our supporters – your support makes it possible for ministry to continue each month.
As an orphan is adopted into a family, God adopts us into His family when we believe in Him. (Ephesians 1:5-7, John 3:16). Like an orphan who does not earn a family, but is chosen and loved, so too we cannot earn God’s love and eternal life – it is His free gift to us.
Romans 10:9-10 says: “f you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by openly declaring your faith that you are saved.” If you would like to step into a personal relationship with Jesus today, by believing in your heart and declaring that Jesus is your Savior, you can pray in your heart:
“Dear God, I acknowledge that I am a sinner and that Jesus died on the cross for my sins. I ask Jesus to come live in my heart today as my Lord and Savior. I accept Your forgiveness for my sins and your gift of eternal life. Help me to live a life that is pleasing to You. Thank you for hearing my prayers and loving me unconditionally. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
If you have made the decision to believe in and follow Jesus Christ as your Savior, we warmly welcome you to God’s family! 2 Corinthians 5:17 tells us, “This means that anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!” We rejoice with you, our partners in South Asia and around the world!
If you made the decision to follow Christ today or would like to learn more, we’d love to hear from you! Send us a private message or write to us at tingministries@comcast.net. To God be the Glory!

New Year’s Letter from South Asia Ministry Partners

We are so thankful for our supporters like you who make ministry possible! Here’s an encouraging New Year’s Message from our South Asian ministry partners, to Ting Ministries and our supporters:
“First of all, we would like to give you thanks for your great continued support, love and prayers for the ministry & Ting children’s home. We also thank you again for all the whole year you have been standing with us through support, love, and prayers in the ministry and family. We praise God that we received many blessings from you and we were able to penetrate in the backwards, isolated and remotes of the country and share the gospel among the unreached tribes who have never heard the gospel. And many, many people know and accept Jesus Christ is their Lord and personal Savior because of YOU. This is the great blessing of our partnership in the ministry. Your support is not in Vain but expanding His Kingdom day by day among the unreached and fruitful! We admitted that without your continued supports, love and prayers we can’t imagine continuing our ongoing ministry. What a privileged God has given us working together with you in His vineyard! We are very, very proud to be working with you!
In spite of facing many difficulties, challenges in the ministry and pandemic in around the world God has always standing with us. God is so good!! He always sees us through, even in these most difficult times in which we are living in. He never leaves us nor forsakes us! As long as we put our trust in Him, He is always there to help us. We really praise God for your continued firmly standing with us and even in our most difficult time pandemic. We thank you so much for God and you for what you have done for our ongoing ministry! Amazing Grace!!! Praise the Lord!!!”

Ministry Update from South Asia

Ministry Update from South Asia! We recently received a ministry update from our partners. Read and learn what the Lord is accomplishing through the Ting Ministries family and network in other countries and join us in prayer for these needs.
“Since the whole month of May was lockdown, we could not visit different villages enough to really involve them in ministry. But we were able to do evangelism in some villages. They are all Buddhists where we have shared the gospel in the village. They were receptive for gospel and asking us many questions about God. Some people were touched in their hearts and accepted Christ as their Lord and personal Savior. They were very much glad to hear about the word of God.
Leaders traveling through the jungle for ministry
We also planted a house church. The members have been doing what we have taught them to do and leading church services, bible studies, prayer meetings, home visits by turns. They have much unity in their respective activities. If they faced any difficulties in their activities, they helped each other.
Praise the Lord three souls were baptized!
Please continue to pray for the children at the children’s home. They needed more prayer for them so that God will provide all their needs and they may live and study in a good environment.
Please also continually pray for my daughter for recovering her sickness. She is very weak and couldn’t eat. We need a miracle from God for her healing.”
We are always strengthened in spirit and encouraged when we receive word from our partners around the world. We hope that you will also be uplifted by this update and encouraged to know how the Lord is still moving and working in these times of uncertainty! If you feel led to give so that ministry may continue in South Asia, please see the donation information below. Donations of just $15 (or more) are greatly appreciated for the children’s home. If designated, your gift will go directly to the physical and educational needs of the children living there. Thank you and may God Bless You with the Shalom of Messiah Yeshua!

Ministry Updates:

Here’s how Ting Ministries continues to serve around the world and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ!

  • The Philippines: Pastor “John” and his wife continue to minister to remote and vulnerable peoples who are receiving no aid otherwise. They believe more people will die of starvation than of any other means, given the current situation in the country. Please pray for protection of ministry, safe travels, and receptive hearts as they share the love of Christ. Pictured: Food outreach in the Philippines

  • Indonesia: Through the Carpenter’s former Compassion International sponsor child, Ting Ministries is reaching vulnerable and elderly individuals with food resources during the crisis. Continued prayers for provision, strength and protection appreciated. Pictured: Distributing food to families in-need

  • South Asia: Please continue to keep Pastor “James'” teenage daughter in your prayers. She is recovering well from a bout of illness, though she is still weak. We continue to have opportunities for sponsorships ($15/month). Please pray for provision for the children’s home in-country. There is a great need for teachers and cooks there, as well as for the growth and sustaining of women’s ministry. Pictured: Children from the children’s home singing praise and worship songs. Also: Ministry partners must make long treks through rugged terrain to share the Gospel and reach villages with basic supplies.

  • Romania: We are continuing to serve in partnership with Romanian animal rescuers and through them Ting Ministries is sharing the love of Jesus not only to abused animals but also some to needy souls. Our contacts were working to purchase a small home with a plot of land but do to the lockdown and fears amid the virus since the sale has fallen through. But out of the huge disappointment God is doing something better. We have been able to use a plot of land already owned by our contacts and tear down the ruined structure and begin rebuilding a small home. Most of the animals are already on the property now and the fencing is being fixed. 12 of the rescued puppies have been able to make it safely to the UK to their new families even though they had been delayed a month due to the lockdown in Romania. Since we are tearing down and rebuilding we now have 2 more families being blessed by Ting Ministries. Please add Marian and Mr. I and their families to your prayers as they are daily working on the tear down and rebuild. Marian was raised by his grandmother and is 21 and has no parents. Mr. I has 1 son who is 18 and his wife passed away. Pray that we can share the love of Jesus and the Gospel! Pictured: Marian working on rebuilding.

  • Ukraine: Please continue to pray for Bible Orphan Ministry as they minister to aging-out orphans and for Pastor Misha’s health. Pictured: Dinner with youth at the home of BOM

  • Pakistan: Pray for recent ministry developments, including student sponsorships, that have started to grow through local believers. Pictured: Believers worshipping in Pakistan

Hygienic Toilets & School Building Supplies for South Asia!

Dear friends, our pastor in South Asia recently informed us the ministry team decided to purchase construction materials for hygienic toilets for the children’s home, as well as 2 solar panels and 20 benches for the classroom. These materials were badly needed for the health and productivity of the children’s lives at the home. In order to cover this cost for urgently needed supplies, the team has taken out a loan for $2000. This loan should be paid by by the end of February 2020. If 50 people gave just $40 in the beginning of the new year, we would have this cost covered quickly!

Thank you for partnering with us to meet these needs in the lives of the children we serve, to ensure basic dignity and rights to an education!
