Theresa* from South Asia shares her testimony, after attending an evangelism event arranged by Ting Ministries’ team members. (*Not real name).
“We are all in Buddhist before. My husband had died 5 years ago. I have fours and two daughters. They all are married. I am living to my youngest son’s house. I take care of my niece, nephew and help in their house works right now. My sons and daughters have already accepted Christ about 2 years ago. My sons and daughters were most of the time shared me about God’s love and eternal life. But I never believe and accept it. Since we were born from Buddhist family and my husband also very devoted in his belief. We so much believe and rely on superstitions.
Since then I realized that I am a sinner, only Jesus Christ can save us and He is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God. After the end of the event, I go back to my house and I was shared how of how my heart changes.
The evangelist team organized an evangelism program at our village in last month. The evangelist team all of invited us to join at the event. We all the villagers have joined at the evangelism. The evangelist team had started with prayer, praise and worship songs then they started sharing the gospel. At the evangelism program, the topic was “How to enter the Kingdom of God and salvation”. When the Pastor was shared about God, His creation, fall of man, sin and salvation. His message was so powerful and touched in my heart and my body was trembling that time. Especially John 14: 6. “I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me”. This verse was really touched in my heart and through this, I completely changed my hearts during the event. Besides, not only this verse, but also in other verses and the Pastor’s message. Since then I realized that I am a sinner, only Jesus Christ can save us and He is the only way to enter the Kingdom of God. After the end of the event, I go back to my house and I was shared how of my heart changes to my son’s family. My son’s family was welcoming for my changed life. They said to me when we have shared you about the word of God, you didn’t want to listen but now you listen and accepted it. This is perfect timing to know Him. We no longer are divided for faith in our family and now we are one family in Christ in our house. Praise the Lord!!!
I thank to the Lord and the evangelism team for sharing us great good news and giving me a new life. Also thanks again to Jesus’ for giving His blood for saving us from our sin. Now I am joining at bible study, prayer meeting, sharing the gospel to the neighbors and home visits. I really enjoyed those activities which has given me peace, joyful heart, love, compassion, and sympathy to others. Please pray for my health and His blessings.
Thank you so very much.
Micah 6:8 (NIV)
He has shown you, O mortal, what is good.
And what does the Lord require of you?
To act justly and to love mercy
and to walk humbly with your God.
Dear Ting Ministries friends,
We need your help in Bangladesh. Pastor James recently returned from planting a new church in a village and sharing the Gospel with indigenous people. There are so many needs in these villages and especially with the poverty-stricken village orphans and deprived poor children.
Ting Ministries also needs your help to feed the children currently living at the Children’s Home near the border of Burma. There are two children included in this post for sponsorship and there are 19 others we will also be sharing this month. Monthly sponsorship suggested amount is $30.00/month.
Meet beautiful Huailah (left, age 9) and shy Sav (right, age 7)! They are both waiting for sponsors so they can continue living at our TM Children’s Home where they will learn about Jesus and receive an education. Learn more about becoming a sponsor by reading the info below their pictures.
Any amount of help for Bangladesh would be so appreciated!

They have given MANY MANY THANKS to God and you for providing such as feast, Children’s and needy gifts, games
During the Christmas we received 9 souls and they are all baptized. Praise the Lord!!!
This also happened in December –
We had a wonderful three days church leadership training program . The church leaders that attended were 40. The training went very well.
We had distributed Bibles to the church leaders at the end of the last training days. The leaders were very much satisfied at receiving such a kind of training which is vital for the ministry. They said that what we have learned through this training, we will be able to implement. We gave a guitar also which was much appreciated.
We believe that God will help and lead them by the power of the Holy Spirit for the expansion of His Kingdom.
We pray that this New Year 2019 will be the most fruitful year of the ministry. We pray that God will continually bless, guide and lead you and us by the power of the Holy Spirit for the expansion of His kingdom in this Near Year. We hope and pray that God will provide monthly ministry workers support and monthly support for the orphanage needs and support monthly for the children.
To God be the Glory and much thanks to everyone.

October 9, 2018: We are very excited to share this huge praise with you! After months of prayer and promotion, one very special donor came forward to cover 100% of the remaining costs for the kitchen of our TM Children’s Home on the border of Bangladesh and Burma! Now, with construction being finished, we can soon start to welcome the children who will live in a family-like setting and receive a Christian education. Thank you very much to our donor and to all who have been praying for this need.
Construction for our TM children’s home, on the border of Bangladesh and Burma, is almost complete – only the kitchen needs to be built. Below, you can see the school for the children’s home. (Featured Image: living space)
Thirty children like Mala are waiting to move into the children’s home when it is finished! The children will live in a family-setting with Christian caregivers. They will go to school together, receive education, and most importantly, be taught and shown the love of Jesus. Whereas right now, children like Mala wander from person to person in the village, the children’s home will provide them a stable location to live. Also, these children will be able to continue living in the local community, and grow up feeling a sense of belonging. When the children reach adulthood, the skills they have learned at the children’s home will hopefully prepare them to live independently in their community and share the love of Jesus with others.
If you would like to help in the final stage of construction, please give a gift and note “Bangladesh Children’s Home.”100% of your gift will go to the building costs (a total of $2,500). Thank you for partnering with us to help these precious children. May God bless you.
