My name is “L….”. I am 55 years old. My parents are Buddhist. Since my parents are Buddhist I used to worship Budhha statues. But not worship him regularly. When my heart is willing, that’s the time I used to worship Buddha statues. Frankly to say, I was a nominal Buddhist at that time. I have three sons and two daughters. I work in a pineapple and mango garden all day long. Also work as a board driver.

When I was at the age of 54, I converted to Christianity. The reason is one of my friends had invited me to join church service again and again. But at the last moment I joined the church service. When I was entering inside the church somebody spoke to me in my ears that you should always attend in the church so that you may have eternal life. Since then I was looking around to see who spoke to me these words but I didn’t know who was telling me.

When the pastor started his sermon on “Repentance” how much we are sinful and needed repentance to God. It really touched my heart. Since then I knew that I am a sinner and need to confess and surrender to God. Also I used to join bible study, prayer meetings which were held every night. This also touched my heart. Since then I have received Jesus Christ as my Lord and personal Savior. As soon as I received Christ I threw and burnt all the statues which I was hanging in my house. I have even cleaned my house since I was thinking of a new born again on this earth.

Right now, I’m learning more about the Word of God so that I can also share and teach eternal words to the peoples who are still living in the darkness. Whenever I have a chance, I used to join in the ministry works and I am helping the pastor and church leaders as much as I can.

My plan is to preach good news & obey His command” therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and the Holy Spirit and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age. (Matt28: 19-20)

My prayer requests are please pray for my family blessing and good health and pray for wisdom and knowledge about the word of God.

My name is “Lisa”. I have two children. They are still small ages. I work all day long at the _____ cultivation.

We have been Buddhist since our grandparents. Our parents always taught us at the age of teenage to practice and follow our religious rules for receiving blessings and a better life. I did all of them as per my parents’ instructions. But I was never satisfied with this because of our handmade idols which we bowed down and worshipped. One day I was thinking so much and shared with my husband what came to my mind. Then after a couple of days, the pastor had organized a seminar in our village and invited us to the seminar. We also cordially joined the seminar. The seminar topic was John 3:5 Jesus answered, “Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born of water and the Spirit he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. The Pastor’s message was very powerful and wonderful to us and our hearts were fully changed and like a newborn in flesh. Then I shared with my husband what happened. He was also the same as me. Since then our hearts were full of joy and happiness. After finishing the seminar, we shared to the Pastor what was happening in our hearts. You must have surrendered to God and relationship with Him and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and personal Savior. Then we were specially invited to the Pastor at our house and told about sin, God’s love, redemption, and eternal life. We know more and more from this sharing. Then we realized that we are sinners and prayed for forgiveness to God. After we accepted Jesus Christ as our Lord and personal Savior.

We thank God for joining the seminar which has really benefited and given us for eternal life. We are also grateful to the Pastor who had shared a powerful and wonderful message to us. Right now, we are joining church services and bible studies which really give us joy, peace, and happiness in our life
