Philippians 4:4 – August 2021

Our Filipino pastor and team need funds for the completion of the new home for at-risk girls named The Mei Mei house. The total needed for completion of the Mei Mei house is approximately $5,000. He said the cement that is needed to be poured is about $1,000 of that $5,000. The Tin Tin house for boys is nearly complete and ready to use.

Our team in the Philippines also asked us yesterday morning for help for orphans in Marawi. They are orphaned from the war with Abu Sayyaf ( ISIS) from a few years ago. They are in a Muslim camp and are in forced labor by the rebels. Many of them run away. Our team has been asked.to help with these orphans. This is why the completion of the Mei Mei and Tin Tin homes are so important; these homes will provide shelter for these children rescued from slave labor.

The Brick Kiln Sunday School for children of the forced laborers continues. Praise God for His light going forth in the midst of grim and desperate circumstances. School materials (books, papers, pencils) are always needed for children who attend each week.

We are also helping with medical costs for this little boy with special needs.

Funds are needed to purchase and then send coloring books explaining the Gospel in Romanian to Cristina in Romania. We are slowing making inroads with children in the village.
We also have been building a pen for some of the rescued pups because of the volume of rescues and the need for a place to keep some separated, especially moms with puppies. We just had 5 go to the UK to families forever. Slowly through animal rescue in Romania the Gospel is being shared and praying for hearts to be changed 1 person at a time. As hearts change then better care of animals will also happen.

Happy 13th Birthday Princess Avigayil Christina “Avi /Tin Tin”!
There are no words to express the daily agony of missing you. I have a confidence that I will see you again because of Jesus Christ. John 14:3 My assurance and my hope is because my eternal future is secure. I made a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Just this week I watched a YouTube video called “Sheep Among Wolves” and attended the showing of “Free Burma Rangers”. Please look both of these up and watch for yourself. This life is not all there is – as a believer in Christ I must live for Him.
As I live without the physical presence of my sweet princess I breathe in deeply and I miss her with every breath. I remember that it was so hard to breathe without her as I waited for her before we adopted her as our daughter. Now I wait for you again on this side of heaven and it is even harder to breathe without you… AND

You are the very essence of love and you smelled of the sweet aroma of Christ. Most missed the gift you were and I am saddened for them because they missed the touch of God on this side of heaven.

We were given a gift by God Himself in you. Most don’t know that you were born from a violent act of rape upon your young 15 year old birth mother and she chose life for you. I pray every day for her healing from her pain and that one day she too will know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and she will know what a gift God gave the world through the daughter she birthed.

Everything about you drew me closer to Our Father in heaven and He continues to use your life to draw me into a deeper fellowship with Himself.

We honor your life by continuing your legacy to be a voice for the voiceless. I remember saying at Avi’s celebration service “Don’t leave this room without being changed.”

Dear friends, our pastor in South Asia recently informed us the ministry team decided to purchase construction materials for hygienic toilets for the children’s home, as well as 2 solar panels and 20 benches for the classroom. These materials were badly needed for the health and productivity of the children’s lives at the home. In order to cover this cost for urgently needed supplies, the team has taken out a loan for $2000. This loan should be paid by by the end of February 2020. If 50 people gave just $40 in the beginning of the new year, we would have this cost covered quickly!

Would you please share this article and prayerfully consider helping to cover the cost of this loan? If you would like to give towards the cost of supplies, you may:
1. Give online: http://www.paypal.me/Tingministries
2. Send a check: Ting Ministries, 29 East Poplar Street, Lebanon, PA 17042
Thank you for partnering with us to meet these needs in the lives of the children we serve, to ensure basic dignity and rights to an education!
