Feeding 500 Families: Update

Ting Ministries Philippines
Tin Tin Ministry (all because of one tiny orphan the world rejected who became the most loved princess – Avigayil “Tin Tin”)
In the next days we are feeding 500 families from 12 communities. Today was the first mission. Families receive food and supplies to meet their basic needs and also receive the “Bread of Life.”

They are hearing the Gospel message.
Please help us to reach the remaining 11 communities. Any gift amount will be a huge help.
The Hope Water project also needs the support of many to keep clean water being delivered.
John 6:35 Jesus replied, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty.’

Not a Mistake, but Hidden Treasure

Philippians 4:4 – August 2021

Ting Ministries Friends,
Please take a look at the photo below. This wall hanging was taken off the store display and hidden in a corner to send back as soon as the mistake was noticed. Do you see the mistake? Everyone saw this misspelling as a mistake – except me. This picture to me is a treasure. I would have paid double for this treasure if that is what it would have cost for me to take this treasure home.
You see, this “mistake” is a hidden treasure. This picture is an allegory of my precious Avi. What most saw as a “mistake” (a child born from a rape; with multiple, severe special needs; never progressing past a 6-month developmental age) I saw as a rare and precious jewel… a life with more meaning and purpose than anyone could imagine except for our Lord who gave this gift of Avi to me…to us. He gave her her to me for a time…Not a long enough time and with every breath, I long to hear her sweet giggle, touch her soft beautiful fingers and hold her in my arms.
So you see, this discarded picture to me is a treasure…a very present reminder that my Lord sees my tears and hears my heart. My heart’s cry is for each story, each life, each soul brought into my view by each of Ting Ministries’ pastors and partners.
Each life – Each child – Each soul matters.
You can help us at Ting Ministries reach 1 at a time. You can help us change 1 life at a time and save 1 soul at a time. Each one is a precious, hidden treasure waiting to be seen – sometimes tucked in a corner out of view of everyone – except our Lord. He sees, He hears, and He moves.
Please help Ting Ministries and our teams overseas reach one soul at a time. See our website: www.tingministries.com for current projects. You can see some of the fruit of your gifts….such as the beautiful, completed Tin Tin House in the Philippines and the continued rescue of the Brick Kiln children and families.
Our overseas teams are at work in: Indonesia, Pakistan, South Asia, the Philippines, Russia, Romania, and Ukraine. Please keep Ting Ministries in your prayers.
We would love to share about ministry at your church, small group or more! Each gift is tax deductible.

Mei Mei House, Reaching Children in Slavery and Other June Projects

Philippines

Our Filipino pastor and team need funds for the completion of the new home for at-risk girls named The Mei Mei house. The total needed for completion of the Mei Mei house is approximately $5,000. He said the cement that is needed to be poured is about $1,000 of that $5,000. The Tin Tin house for boys is nearly complete and ready to use.

Team in front of Mei Mei House

Our team in the Philippines also asked us yesterday morning for help for orphans in Marawi. They are orphaned from the war with Abu Sayyaf ( ISIS) from a few years ago. They are in a Muslim camp and are in forced labor by the rebels. Many of them run away. Our team has been asked.to help with these orphans. This is why the completion of the Mei Mei and Tin Tin homes  are so important; these homes will provide shelter for these children rescued from slave labor.

Pakistan

The Brick Kiln Sunday School for children of the forced laborers continues. Praise God for His light going forth in the midst of grim and desperate circumstances. School materials (books, papers, pencils) are always needed for children who attend each week.

We are also helping with medical costs for this little boy with special needs.

Romania

Funds are needed to purchase and then send coloring books explaining the Gospel in Romanian to Cristina in Romania. We are slowing making inroads with children in the village.

We also have been building a pen for some of the rescued pups because of the volume of rescues and the need for a place to keep some separated, especially moms with puppies. We just had 5 go to the UK to families forever. Slowly through animal rescue in Romania the Gospel is being shared and praying for hearts to be changed 1 person at a time. As hearts change then better care of animals will also happen.

Special Birthday Message: A Place My Heart Never Left

Written by: Stephanie Carpenter, co-founder and co-director of Ting Ministries
There is a place my heart never left. When we adopted our Avigayil “Avi / Tin Tin” my heart fell in love with the Philippines and our brothers and sisters.
Ministry through Ting Ministries began in the Philippines all because of her tiny beautiful life. Saturday the 27th is her 14th Birthday. The grief of missing her never ends. She went home with Jesus 2 years and 15 weeks ago. I choose to cling to the truth of God’s Word.
Isaiah 55:8-13
“My thoughts are nothing like your thoughts,” says the Lord.
“And my ways are far beyond anything you could imagine.
For just as the heavens are higher than the earth,
so my ways are higher than your ways
and my thoughts higher than your thoughts.
“The rain and snow come down from the heavens
and stay on the ground to water the earth.
They cause the grain to grow,
producing seed for the farmer
and bread for the hungry.
It is the same with my word.
I send it out, and it always produces fruit.
It will accomplish all I want it to,
and it will prosper everywhere I send it.
You will live in joy and peace.
The mountains and hills will burst into song,
and the trees of the field will clap their hands!
Where once there were thorns, cypress trees will grow.
Where nettles grew, myrtles will sprout up.
These events will bring great honor to the Lord’s name;
they will be an everlasting sign of his power and love.”
To celebrate her life our faithful team/pastor/brothers and sisters in the Southern Philippines are planning an outreach to the city to feed the homeless, orphaned and needy for Avi/Tin Tin’s Birthday.
Please help us celebrate the life of our Princess by giving to other needy children. The children will receive nourishment for their bodies and also their souls. They will learn about Jesus and the Truth of His Word.
Happy Birthday Princess Avigayil Christina “Tin Tin”.

Happy 13th Birthday, Princess Avigayil “Tin Tin!”

Happy 13th Birthday Princess Avigayil Christina “Avi /Tin Tin”!

There are no words to express the daily agony of missing you. I have a confidence that I will see you again because of Jesus Christ. John 14:3 My assurance and my hope is because my eternal future is secure. I made a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Just this week I watched a YouTube video called “Sheep Among Wolves” and attended the showing of “Free Burma Rangers”. Please look both of these up and watch for yourself. This life is not all there is – as a believer in Christ I must live for Him.

As I live without the physical presence of my sweet princess I breathe in deeply and I miss her with every breath. I remember that it was so hard to breathe without her as I waited for her before we adopted her as our daughter. Now I wait for you again on this side of heaven and it is even harder to breathe without you… AND

You are the very essence of love and you smelled of the sweet aroma of Christ. Most missed the gift you were and I am saddened for them because they missed the touch of God on this side of heaven.

We were given a gift by God Himself in you. Most don’t know that you were born from a violent act of rape upon your young 15 year old birth mother and she chose life for you. I pray every day for her healing from her pain and that one day she too will know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and she will know what a gift God gave the world through the daughter she birthed.

Everything about you drew me closer to Our Father in heaven and He continues to use your life to draw me into a deeper fellowship with Himself.

We honor your life by continuing your legacy to be a voice for the voiceless. I remember saying at Avi’s celebration service “Don’t leave this room without being changed.”

Local friends please join us at a “birthday party” fundraiser for bringing Katie home from China. The Gulnac family has said Yes to adopt Katie. Please join us for Pork BBQ and help celebrate Avi and bring Katie home. Saturday the 29th at Fairland Brethren in Christ Church Lebanon Pa 2-4 pm eat in or take out all by donation to Dan and Jess Gulnac for Katie.

Anyone not local we are using Avi’s voice to raise funds for the building of Tin Tin’s House in the Philippines and the purchase of a home in Romania for a dear friend with a special needs sister. Please pray and help by donating at www.paypal.me/tingministries
