My Heart’s Dream: Now Official

My heart’s dream since that day in March of 2011 when I flew out of this Southern City in the Philippines with my tiny beautiful princess on my lap…to fly to Manila to complete her adoption..
My heart had a dream to one day build a home in her city of birth to help more children be loved and cared for and to ultimately come to know Christ as their Savior.
Ting Ministries
Tin Tin House
Officially has a title and a registration to operate in the Philippines with the government approval!
Our Pastor spent the past week in Manila meeting with government officials and we now have registration and approval in our hands.
Just wow and ONLY GOD!
NEVER on that day in 2011 did I dream that my princess would go home to the Lord in 2018 (at almost 12 years old) and I would be left to ache to hold her and love her here on this earth.
The ache and grief of missing a child never goes away and each day my heart feels the same pain as the day before in its loss and grief BUT GOD…BUT GOD…
I found the joy in life is giving…giving of your life to others. Literally…Nehemiah 8:10
“…for the joy of the Lord is your strength.”
So with each soul saved…each life touched…each child rescued…each family fed…there is JOY. The joy of the Lord is not a worldly happiness. It is a touching of the heart into the Spirit of God and there is a joy that can only come from the Eternal God of the Universe Himself…this is found only in having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
If you don’t know Christ as your Savior please contact us at Ting Ministries and we can tell you more about our Savior and Salvation. You can begin to know more by reading the Book of John in the Bible.
So in this post…I praise the Lord for His Joy and for allowing the Tin Tin House to be completed and Officially recognized by the Filipino government to begin to take in children.
Some exciting Ministry opportunities have now been opened to help child soldiers find love and true freedom. Weekly Street feedings will continue and children will be cared for by our Team and family in this region of the Philippines.
Please consider joining as a prayer partner and also a financial partner. Your Year-end-gift would be a huge blessing.

“How Can I Help?”

This post first appeared on April 13, 2021 on Facebook, from Stephanie Carpenter, co-founder and director of Ting Ministries:
I always am asked, ” How can I help?”
You can help by donating to Ting Ministries. You can do your own fundraiser and donate. You can share by social media or word of mouth about the tremendous needs in each country where we have teams doing “on the ground and person to person” ministry work. Our teams are meeting physical and spiritual needs.
These photos show only 1 outreach done by one team in the Philippines. These photos show the food outreach to the poor victims of a recent fire. They are receiving rice and are so very grateful for this small gift. How many of us would be happy just for breakfast, lunch and dinner of rice? If your child would be starving you would be ever so thankful!
CHANGE YOUR PROSPECTIVE that there is nothing you can do! You can do something to help. If each one who reads this post would donate 10 dollars that would add up quickly. Pray and get involved. Every penny donated goes directly to Ting Ministries teams.

We saw some old friends…Annie was blessed to see Kyla from ICC( International China Concern)!
To say she was excited would be a huge understatement. ..I think the entire hall heard her continuous shrieks of joy!

Our God is the defender of the orphan and He writes beautiful stories. Ting Ministries has been partnering with Agape Hands – Christian ministry of Calvary Chapel Hemet, California.

This ministry and these loving women knit and sew for the.orphan. During the winter Ting ministries shipped the socks, hats, mittens, etc to other ministry partners for orphans. Agape hands recently finished a shipment of pillowcase dresses. The dresses are beautiful and we are working on developing an orphan program where the child that receives the new dress made with love will find a sponsor to send them to school. Recently 49 street children attended Christian camp in Zamboanga run by our partners. It is our hope and prayer to send all 49 to school.( Program called ” Sponsor a Dress” more coming as we develop the.program…and yes..boys will be included but need a different program name and new item)
I asked our partner in California to pray for us as we headed to CAFO 2017 to be presenters in two workshops. I told Colleen we were headed to Nashville. Colleen then told me her grandson was going to college in Nashville and he found a church he loved and he was working at the church – Brentwood Baptist! Turns out it was the church for CAFO 2017 and her grandson was working CAFO for the church!
Today we had the.opportunity and blessing to.meet Colleen’s grandson! Two ministries from opposite coasts join together.

Ting Ministries has a Vision of a WORLD WITHOUT ORPHANS.
Brian (executive director of Ting Ministries) shared our vision at CAFO 2017 during the two sessions, where he was a presenter. It is possible to have a World without orphans.
We need to be in the Word of God and we need not only to follow the first part of James 1:27 but also the second part which states ” …and to keep oneself from being polluted by the world.”

This is adoption!
This is JAMES 1:27 being lived out daily without fanfare or notice by others…but our Father in Heaven sees and one day will say well done my good and faithful servant.
– William Wilberforce
“This world does not need interested observers – it needs INCURABLE FANATICS.”
Help Hope and Brittan have the same opportunity to be loved!

Without Faith It is Impossible to Please Him

Without faith it is impossible to please Him… —Hebrews 11:6

Faith in active opposition to common sense is mistaken enthusiasm and narrow-mindedness, and common sense in opposition to faith demonstrates a mistaken reliance on reason as the basis for truth. The life of faith brings the two of these into the proper relationship. Common sense and faith are as different from each other as the natural life is from the spiritual, and as impulsiveness is from inspiration. Nothing that Jesus Christ ever said is common sense, but is revelation sense, and is complete, whereas common sense falls short. Yet faith must be tested and tried before it becomes real in your life. “We know that all things work together for good…” (Romans 8:28) so that no matter what happens, the transforming power of God’s providence transforms perfect faith into reality. Faith always works in a personal way, because the purpose of God is to see that perfect faith is made real in His children.

For every detail of common sense in life, there is a truth God has revealed by which we can prove in our practical experience what we believe God to be. Faith is a tremendously active principle that always puts Jesus Christ first. The life of faith says, “Lord, You have said it, it appears to be irrational, but I’m going to step out boldly, trusting in Your Word” (for example, see Matthew 6:33). Turning intellectual faith into our personal possession isalways a fight, not just sometimes. God brings us into particular circumstances to educate our faith, because the nature of faith is to make the object of our faith very real to us. Until we know Jesus, God is merely a concept, and we can’t have faith in Him. But once we hear Jesus say, “He who has seen Me has seen the Father” (John 14:9) we immediately have something that is real, and our faith is limitless. Faith is the entire person in the right relationship with God through the power of the Spirit of Jesus Christ. See More
