Remembering the Mustard Seed – God shows us how something small and seemingly insignificant can grow into something significant and impactful!
Thats you Avi “Tin Tin”… from a tiny and unwanted orphan-to a much cherished princess and daughter-to the namesake of ministry programs where lives are being changed and impacted eternally
Mark 4:30-32 And He said, “How shall we picture the kingdom of God, or by what parable shall we present it? It is like a mustard seed, which, when sown upon the soil, though it is smaller than all the seeds that are upon the soil, yet when it is sown, it grows up and becomes larger than all the garden plants and forms large branches; so that the birds of the air can nest under its shade.”

Why does this matter when celebrating her birthday?
It matters because every night when I would hold this tiny fragile princess in my arms I would whisper in her ear how one day we will run through fields of yellow flowers together. And the flowers in my vision and dreams with her were just like the mustard seed flower!

“For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
When visiting a church a few months ago someone asked us a question based on the Ting Ministries T-shirt. The back of our Ting Team shirts (which are available for anyone to purchase and can be done in multiple languages and colors) says in bold letters – WHAT’S YOUR PURPOSE?
The one who asked us this question had read my shirt and on the spot asked – “Well, what’s your purpose?”
My mind started spinning in a thousand directions in a split second because my heart’s desire is to live out James 1:27 and Proverbs 31:8-9 and Mark 16:15 And care for our girls and and and but it boils down to 2 simple but profound truths… To share the Gospel and to serve
That verse again… Matthew 20:28 “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve others and to give his life as a ransom for many.”
Wow that’s powerful!
I pray as this video is shared that it touches your heart. May you serve those around you. May you be blessed to be a blessing. May you know the one true Jesus Christ. Romans 10: 9-10
This video shows our Tin Tin children singing about Jesus – our Tin Tin Sunday School made up of brick kiln slave children loving Jesus – some urgent needs such as the young girl who had her foot burned in a fire had another seizure and needs more medical care – food, and warm clothes needed for Tin Tin children- Gospel outreaches in some difficult areas to reach – and our beautiful and growing Yating Youth! They are going to celebrate Avi “Tin Tin’s” Birthday this weekend! Help them out by blessing their group with food and transportation!
