One Year Ago Today…

1 year ago today God did a miracle – Hannah “Annie” was adopted- hours before she would have aged out and would.never have been able to be adopted! We can not imagine life without our smiling sweetheart. Do you know what life is like for those unadopted with special needs- especially those with severe needs? God is still a miracle working God and He.is working miracles for Hope and Brittan! Join us…

“…I am with you to deliver you,” says the Lord. —Jeremiah 1:8
God promised Jeremiah that He would deliver him personally— “…your life shall be as a prize to you…” (Jeremiah 39:18). That is all God promises His children. Wherever God sends us, He will guard our lives. Our personal property and possessions are to be a matter of indifference to us, and our hold on these things should be very loose. If this is not the case, we will have panic, heartache, and distress. Having the proper outlook is evidence of the deeply rooted belief in the overshadowing of God’s personal deliverance.
The Sermon on the Mount indicates that when we are on a mission for Jesus Christ, there is no time to stand up for ourselves. Jesus says, in effect, “Don’t worry about whether or not you are being treated justly.” Looking for justice is actually a sign that we have been diverted from our devotion to Him. Never look for justice in this world, but never cease to give it. If we look for justice, we will only begin to complain and to indulge ourselves in the discontent of self-pity, as if to say, “Why should I be treated like this?” If we are devoted to Jesus Christ, we have nothing to do with what we encounter, whether it is just or unjust. In essence, Jesus says, “Continue steadily on with what I have told you to do, and I will guard your life. If you try to guard it yourself, you remove yourself from My deliverance.” Even the most devout among us become atheistic in this regard— we do not believe Him. We put our common sense on the throne and then attach God’s name to it. We do lean to our own understanding, instead of trusting God with all our hearts (see Proverbs 3:5-6).

Congrats Grad!

In the time of graduations and commencements, we have one more grad to congratulate around here! Hannah “Annie” had a graduation party in her class! 

She has quite a story–from an aging out orphan in China to an orphan advocate in the US. Please take the time to really look at these two pictures. The first is Annie in China, before she knew she had a family coming for her. The second was taken about a year later. 



When Ting Ministries says family can transform a child–this is why. Look at that smile! Hannah is super smart. She is already understanding and speaking English while maintaining her Chinese! When Ting Ministries says every child deserves a family–this is why. We rushed to China just in time for Hannah. If we hadn’t, she would have aged out, never knowing the love of a family, never going to school, and never having opportunities to be a voice for orphans–including her two sisters waiting in China, Brittan and Hope. A Great Night for the Least of These

Check out the highlights of Ting Ministries‘ “For the Least of These” fundraiser. It was a great night filled with friends and fellowship. Thank you to all who came out to share their voice, musical talents, and support for the orphan. Hannah ‘Hannie" Qiao Carpenter is home – Nothing is Impossible with God

God heard and answered Annie’s prayers!  God heard and answered all of our prayers!  Thank you to everyone who prayed…thank you to everyone who gave to Annie….many asked…will they make it in time…All things are possible – BELIEVE without DOUBT…

Hannie is proof that miracles can and do happen.  Do not let others tell you something is impossible!  Believe for the impossible. 

June 27th at 4:00 pm Hannah Qiao Carpenter was officially adopted in Changsha, China.  Annie or “Hannie” turned 14 years old the very next day – June 28, 2016.  She was literally adopted within hours of her aging out of the adoption system forever!

Beautiful Hannie….no longer an orphan without a name…without a family…without love…without a future!  Will we step out and adopt again…YES…there are so many children in need of a family!  So many with such potential…so many that just want to be loved  What do orphans want the most…they want a family.

Tolik has deformed front paws but he is an amazing little guy who we love dearly!  He is a great therapy dog!
Seed Carpenter also adopted from Dnepropetrovsk, Ukraine!  What an amazing girl she is…she has three legs but nothing stops her from having fun and loving her family!  We can not imagine life without Seed.  She is a momma’s baby and is such a smart girl.  She is an amazing therapy dog also for Ting Ministries and her family!  SEED you are a seed that has been planted and God has an amazing story yet to write with you!

“Hi everyone, this is Sasha – writing for our family and Ting Ministries.
I was adopted from Russia when I was 17 months old. I was headed to a Russian mental institution had I not been adopted. Doctors said I would never walk and would always need special needs classes. Today, I can run a ten-minute mile and I am finishing my first year at Bucknell University with a double major and minor. I also have five younger sisters with special needs that were all adopted from different countries.
God has recently called our family to China.
Today, I would like to introduce you to someone. This is Annie.
Every day, she and her friends pray that a family will come for her. She has 2 months left until her 14th birthday at which time she will age out in China! We believe that Annie will thrive in our family. She has spastic cerebral palsy that affects her upper and lower body and her speech. She has a very bright mind and is a treasure waiting for someone to see her value! Annie has Cerebral Palsy just like me. When I see her picture, I see a future and potential. But unless we get to her in time, Annie will live the rest of her life in an orphanage. She will never know what it is like to have a mama, a papa and sisters. Her dreams will remain only dreams.
But we have to hurry! We have two months to raise 26,000 dollars to bring Annie home forever! We need miracles for every document to be processed at an expedited pace!
Can you imagine her joy when she realizes the Lord has answered her prayers? Imagine how much her faith will be strengthened!
And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. Matthew 18:3
Words cannot express how deeply I desire to see Annie a part of my family – To be an adopted sister and a sister in Christ.

So today, I plead with you, will you help us bring Annie home?

In a season filled with political campaigns, the need for orphan awareness becomes even greater. Individual candidates have raised up to 224 million dollars.
