“I do not have my parents. My father and mother died when I was 7 years old. I could not remember this time in my mind because I was so small. My father was died of Malaria and over the year my mother died of dysentery .told my uncle’s. Since then I was staying at my uncle’s house and I thought that I am an unluckiest among the girl in this world because I do have father and mother. Sometimes I felt very lonely, because I do not have parents of my own.
My uncle’s family is very poor. Since we live in the remote part of our country, our lives are very difficult to survive here. Sometime we can eat food only one time in a day. When there is no food in our home we go to jungle to find plant root and cook or boil it.
I get up early in the morning to fetch water from the fountain and cook food. After that I go work in the fields with my uncle and aunt, helping to them in the fields the whole day as much as I can.
Since my uncle is very poor, our pastor sometimes collects used clothes from local church members and that’s all I have. I wore them until they torn or whole the year. If the clothes are wet I cannot change it. If my father and mother are still alive I can tell them that I need clothes and they could buy for me.
I would like to go to school very much but there are no any schools in the villages. Our pastor has already built a home for orphans; I am very excited to stay and study at the home! So that I may not face difficulties in my future life. (TM home and school below).
Thank you so much and pray for me. Mala.”
