2020 Year-End Ways to Give: Disability Ministry, Food Outreach, Medical Missions and More!

2020 End-Of-Year Updates and Ways to Give
Ministry is very busy and the needs in every country continue daily regardless of our Christmas holiday or circumstances here in the USA. So many around the world need both food for the soul and food for the physical body. So many need love and someone to care. Any of the Team Ting Ministries around the world could use your help. We so appreciate every penny and every prayer.

Below are photos from some of ministry happening just in the past days – some even from just today!
Just to mention a few that might touch your heart:
  • In Russia we were able to bless a special needs orphanage with gifts. We have also been able to help an animal rescue in Russia.
  • In the Philippines the poorest of the poor children were given “chicken”, rice and noodles. This is an extravagant meal for these children and they prayed to taste chicken soon. God answered their innocent prayers. They were also given a gift and vitamins. They heard the Gospel.
  • In Romania on the way to get a Christmas tree- a momma and her 3 sick puppies were rescued and taken back home instead of a tree. Five rescued dogs safely made it to the UK in time to be with their forever families for Christmas. The transport drivers sent word they needed prayer to make it back to Romania because the Eurotunnel had been suddenly shut down. They have now made it back to Romania.
  • In Pakistan our Pastor has been helping a young man who needs prosthetics for both legs and a generous donor has paid for both prosthetics. We have many other medical needs in Pakistan that are urgent. A little boy desperately needs surgery for some serious issues and needs to go to the better hospital. Our Pastor recently held Christmas celebrations in the Sunday School at the brick kiln and also at his church. There are many basic needs that must be met for the brick kiln children.
  • In Ukraine the needs continue to aging out orphans and pastor Misha needs prayers for healing.
  • In South Asia the feeding and basic care of the orphaned children is currently a huge need and the mission workers and their family needs as they travel in the jungle to share the Gospel to tribal groups.
  • In Indonesia our young and firm in her faith missionary is working to reach 100 families with food packs. We are currently $500 short of the need to reach every family she has listed. If more is raised than this goal then more families can be reached.
  • In the USA prayers are needed for our family as one of our treasured daughters needed an emergency surgery and needs the Lord’s healing touch to be completely restored to health. Thank you to all prayer warriors!

Thank you for giving of your time to pray and thank you to everyone who as given in the past. We are so thankful for Team Ting supporters. May God bless you and may He give you a hunger for His Word in 2021!

FULLY FUNDED Christmas Project 2020: Tin Tin’s House

Update with New Photos: November 25, 2020

A Special Message from Stephanie, co-director of Ting Ministries

“My heart is full and aching at the same time! Thank you to Ting Ministries supporters….
Tin Tin’s House is soon a dream made a reality. All because of one amazing precious girl who the world would have discarded. She will always be my princess and special treasure. This is so bitter sweet and I am so thankful for my faith in Jesus Christ because without that nothing would make sense. Even so…the house is built with love and tears! Thank you!”

Update: November 21, 2020 (Appeared on Social Media)

We have a huge announcement to share! We are blessed to report that our 2020 Christmas project, Tin Tin’s House, has been FULLY FUNDED by a generous donor!
This news comes just days after we shared this goal with you, our supporters! Tin Tin’s house is named after Avigayil Christina “Tin Tin” Carpenter, the adopted Filipina daughter of Brian and Stephanie, the founders and co-directors of Ting Ministries. Tin Tin’s house has been a dream of Stephane’s for two years and she is so thankful that her prayers for this home have been answered!
This home will allow our pastor in the Philippines to take in 10+ orphans and street children who are need of shelter and counseling. They will experience the love of a family and most importantly, of Jesus Christ.
When we have pictures of the completed home, we will share them joyfully with you! Until then, thank you for your support – and be on the lookout for our upcoming Christmas catalogue, with gift ideas that will benefit Ting Ministries’ partners around the world!
Thank you very much and to God be the Glory!

Dear friends of Ting Ministries,
We at Ting Ministries in the US and around the world would like to thank you for your faithful support. Though these past months have held unexpected circumstances for us all, your support has blessed us as it has allowed ministry to continue in these difficult times. Recently, our partners in the Philippines have been serving families devastated by the typhoons which pummeled the entirety of the Philippines last week. Yesterday, they collected a special offering for families who lost children in other cities. Through the support of Ting Ministries donors, families also received food and were able to be transferred to a small temporary shelter. We and our pastor’s family in the Philippines were blessed by the support received in the face of this emergency situation. Many children have been left without homes or resources following the horrific flooding.

This week, Pastor John* (not real name) bought a small, dilapidated building close to their own home and materials to make conditions livable for 4 orphans which they will take in. He also applied for a government clearance to bring more homeless kids to the local children’s center. Now, it is our deepest desire at Ting Ministries, to complete Tin Tin’s House. The dream of Tin Tin’s House began after Avigayil “Tin Tin,” the beloved daughter of Brian and Stephanie (co-directors and founders of Ting Ministries) who was adopted from the Philippines, went home to Jesus two years ago.
Avigayil
Tin Tin’s house will be equipped to provide a home to more than 10 children. They will receive meals, education, counseling and learn about Jesus through Pastor John and his family. This on-going project is in addition to the small structure that Pastor John just bought this week. Over the past couple years, you have heard us often share about Tin Tin’s home and seen updates from the Philippines. Pastor John and his family have been working tirelessly – they completed much construction of the house themselves, never quitting, even when funds slowed or stopped. Now, we are so close to seeing the dream be realized!
This year, we are praying and aiming for Tin Tin’s House to be completed by Christmas! $5,000 is all that is needed to complete this project – and with the dire situation facing so many families affected by flooding, the need has never been greater!
Please, will you help us to make Christmas 2020 unforgettable for our ministry partners?! This project is so near and dear to Stephanie’s heart – it would be the best Christmas present ever for her and children in-need!
To help us reach our goal, you may give:

Thank you for changing the lives of children with the Gospel this Christmas! To God be the Glory!

Bombing in Southern Philippines: Children Among Those Killed & 28 Wounded!

Pastor John* (name changed for protection) wrote to us with devastating news. He says:

“Pray for my home place. 2 bombs exploded yesterday killed 14 lives and wounded 28. Others are children. We are sending our aid soon. Pray for comfort and peace. Pray also for our team there. We are serving some of the poor kids there now.”

A terrorist group, ABU SAYAF, linked to Al Queda are responsible for the attack which killed and wounded 40+ innocent people, including the parents of the two children pictured. Our Ting Ministries team is on the ground now, serving and helping respond to the emergency. We would like to raise an emergency campaign to send as many funds as we can directly to our partners to equip them to serve in the aftermath of this terrible event.

Please consider a donation to help with this emergency need! Every little bit helps and is so appreciated! 100% of your gift will go directly to our ministry partners and will be used for the specified need! Thank you and God Bless You!

Ministry Updates:

Here’s how Ting Ministries continues to serve around the world and proclaim the name of Jesus Christ!

  • The Philippines: Pastor “John” and his wife continue to minister to remote and vulnerable peoples who are receiving no aid otherwise. They believe more people will die of starvation than of any other means, given the current situation in the country. Please pray for protection of ministry, safe travels, and receptive hearts as they share the love of Christ. Pictured: Food outreach in the Philippines

  • Indonesia: Through the Carpenter’s former Compassion International sponsor child, Ting Ministries is reaching vulnerable and elderly individuals with food resources during the crisis. Continued prayers for provision, strength and protection appreciated. Pictured: Distributing food to families in-need

  • South Asia: Please continue to keep Pastor “James'” teenage daughter in your prayers. She is recovering well from a bout of illness, though she is still weak. We continue to have opportunities for sponsorships ($15/month). Please pray for provision for the children’s home in-country. There is a great need for teachers and cooks there, as well as for the growth and sustaining of women’s ministry. Pictured: Children from the children’s home singing praise and worship songs. Also: Ministry partners must make long treks through rugged terrain to share the Gospel and reach villages with basic supplies.

  • Romania: We are continuing to serve in partnership with Romanian animal rescuers and through them Ting Ministries is sharing the love of Jesus not only to abused animals but also some to needy souls. Our contacts were working to purchase a small home with a plot of land but do to the lockdown and fears amid the virus since the sale has fallen through. But out of the huge disappointment God is doing something better. We have been able to use a plot of land already owned by our contacts and tear down the ruined structure and begin rebuilding a small home. Most of the animals are already on the property now and the fencing is being fixed. 12 of the rescued puppies have been able to make it safely to the UK to their new families even though they had been delayed a month due to the lockdown in Romania. Since we are tearing down and rebuilding we now have 2 more families being blessed by Ting Ministries. Please add Marian and Mr. I and their families to your prayers as they are daily working on the tear down and rebuild. Marian was raised by his grandmother and is 21 and has no parents. Mr. I has 1 son who is 18 and his wife passed away. Pray that we can share the love of Jesus and the Gospel! Pictured: Marian working on rebuilding.

  • Ukraine: Please continue to pray for Bible Orphan Ministry as they minister to aging-out orphans and for Pastor Misha’s health. Pictured: Dinner with youth at the home of BOM

  • Pakistan: Pray for recent ministry developments, including student sponsorships, that have started to grow through local believers. Pictured: Believers worshipping in Pakistan

Happy 13th Birthday, Princess Avigayil “Tin Tin!”

Happy 13th Birthday Princess Avigayil Christina “Avi /Tin Tin”!

There are no words to express the daily agony of missing you. I have a confidence that I will see you again because of Jesus Christ. John 14:3 My assurance and my hope is because my eternal future is secure. I made a personal decision to accept Jesus Christ as my Lord and Savior.

Just this week I watched a YouTube video called “Sheep Among Wolves” and attended the showing of “Free Burma Rangers”. Please look both of these up and watch for yourself. This life is not all there is – as a believer in Christ I must live for Him.

As I live without the physical presence of my sweet princess I breathe in deeply and I miss her with every breath. I remember that it was so hard to breathe without her as I waited for her before we adopted her as our daughter. Now I wait for you again on this side of heaven and it is even harder to breathe without you… AND

You are the very essence of love and you smelled of the sweet aroma of Christ. Most missed the gift you were and I am saddened for them because they missed the touch of God on this side of heaven.

We were given a gift by God Himself in you. Most don’t know that you were born from a violent act of rape upon your young 15 year old birth mother and she chose life for you. I pray every day for her healing from her pain and that one day she too will know Jesus as her Lord and Savior and she will know what a gift God gave the world through the daughter she birthed.

Everything about you drew me closer to Our Father in heaven and He continues to use your life to draw me into a deeper fellowship with Himself.

We honor your life by continuing your legacy to be a voice for the voiceless. I remember saying at Avi’s celebration service “Don’t leave this room without being changed.”

Local friends please join us at a “birthday party” fundraiser for bringing Katie home from China. The Gulnac family has said Yes to adopt Katie. Please join us for Pork BBQ and help celebrate Avi and bring Katie home. Saturday the 29th at Fairland Brethren in Christ Church Lebanon Pa 2-4 pm eat in or take out all by donation to Dan and Jess Gulnac for Katie.

Anyone not local we are using Avi’s voice to raise funds for the building of Tin Tin’s House in the Philippines and the purchase of a home in Romania for a dear friend with a special needs sister. Please pray and help by donating at www.paypal.me/tingministries
