What Did You Eat Today? Feeding Children in the Philippines

What Did You Eat Today?
John 6:35-37: “Jesus replied, ‘I am the bread of life. Whoever comes to me will never be hungry again. Whoever believes in me will never be thirsty. But you haven’t believed in me even though you have seen me. However, those the Father has given me will come to me, and I will never reject them.'”

The children pray before the meal

Thanks to our Ting Ministries supporters, children in the Philippines are getting meals weekly. These street children, that otherwise have nowhere to go, are not only being fed physically but also spiritually. Our team of local believers share food and the love of Jesus to nourish the children’s bodies and souls.

To continue this weekly feeding program, we need to find a sponsor(s) who can commit to a total of ONLY $50/week. We ALREADY have a local Filipino sponsor in-country who has committed $50/week. Praise the Lord!

The meal is simple, indeed, for many, the mush these children pray for would be considered inedible or unappetizing. Yet, these children are truly thankful as they bless each meal. Day by day, their faith grows, seeing the Lord provide for their needs. Would you prayerfully consider partnering with us to help grow the faith of these precious children?

Where the meal is cooked

While one-time gifts are appreciated, it would be a HUGE blessing to know this need is provided for. Could you give up one night of eating out or a few coffees a week to care for The Least of These?

“For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me[…] ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’” Matthew 25: 35-36, 40.

April 7: Eight Years Later, Avi’s Adoption Helps Filipino Children Attend VBS

April 7, 2011 – One of the best days of our lives. Avigayil Christina “TinTin” came home to the USA and met Daddy and Ellianna for the first time. We are missing our beautiful girl with sparkling eyes and curly black hair every hour of every day! There are times when heaven meets earth and miracles occur. She is one of those miracles.

How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God and all will see
How great, how great is our God

(lyrics – How Great is our God by Chris Tomlin)

So friends Avi started something- she started Ting Ministries Philippines and there is so much need. Today I write to ask for help for 30 orphans to attend a week-long vacation Bible camp with our Filipino Pastor and Team. We have 30 orphans we would like to support for only $22! That’s right, only $22 covers an ENTIRE week of camp for a child! A gift of $660 would fund the camp for ALL the children. Please help us to help these orphans attend camp and learn about Jesus and learn how Great is our God.

Avi’s 12th Birthday: A Letter from Stephanie

February 27, 2019
Avigayil Christina “Tin Tin” Today is your 12th Birthday

Missing you with every breath and waiting to run with you and Jesus. Being here without you is so hard. Until that day I will pour myself into being a Voice for the Voiceless! Like Elisha may I have a double portion of your Holy Spirit to live out Proverbs 31: 8-9 and James 1:27

Our Avi. Her name in Hebrew, Avigayil, means Joy of the Father

Today on your birthday in honor of you we helped an animal rescue in Romania save a precious puppy from a horrible life. He is now safe in the arms of a rescue group and we named him Avi ( Hebrew, meaning – “my Father!”)

2 Kings 2:11-12
” As they were walking along and talking behold a chariot of fire and horses of fire separated the two of them and Elijah went up by a whirlwind into heaven. As Elisha was watching, he was crying out, “Avi! Avi! The chariot of Israel and it’s horsemen!” Then he saw him no more. So he took hold of his own clothes and tore them in two pieces.” (Messianic Jewish Tree of Life Version)

Happy Birthday, Avi!

Revival in the Philippines

Ting Ministries Philippines – many photos to encourage you and give you a glimpse into the ministry going on now.

These photos say it all – revival among the youth! Our pastor says the youth are learning to love the children so they too can go and be a light in a dark world!

Some of the boys are getting special teaching from a tutor because they did not have education but thanks to a sponsor here in the USA they are able to have special lessons. Thank you to their sponsors – you know who you are!

Ting Ministries pastor and his wife are traveling to Malaysia to help Filipino children . Some of these children are orphans and we hope and pray to eventually bring them to Tin Tin’s House to care for them, educate them and love them as the precious children they are.

Please consider helping Ting Ministries Philippines with the many needs in the Philippines and building the Tin Tin House.

1 Peter 1:13 NLT

It is 9 weeks and still my words fail me…God’s Word does not. Missing our girl with every breath! The ministry and the needs of orphans and needy around the world continue.

The Tin Tin house in the Philippines will be built and many have already given and are praying. A special thank you to everyone. We have received the first professional drawings of what Tin Tin’s House will look like.
